All Clocks

My senior dad had to/HAD TO have an alarm clock with "bells showing". The familiar long-ago look of this clock pleased him very much. Most of those "bells showing" clocks are windups that were NOT loud, and shut themself off while alarming after a few seconds...BUTTHIS great alarm clock is plenty loud for Hard-of-Hearing people, without being jarring or offensive, and has to be shut off manually-- so he has a chance to hear it!!! and uses batteries. Has seconds hand so dad can see it is working. Can be read from across room. Even though clock feels hefty in my hand, it has a plastic face (can't notice that really-[...]) but that is safer for my particular, elderly dad who knocks things over a lot. He is that kind who would break a glass face alarm clock in about a week and could even cut his foot if he did..so i am happy it is plastic face clock--safer for seniors.Pretty clock, It's easy for seniors to use and read and hear, very nice looking. THE CLOCK IS GOOD BUT I HAVE TWO COMMENTS: 1. BECAUSE OF THE WEIGHT AND THE LARGE OVERHUNG MOMENT FROM THE WALL IT NEEDS A MORE SECURE WALL HANGER AS IT COULD EASILY SHAKE LOOSE IN AN EARTHQUAKE. COULD NOT FIND A SATISFACTORY HANGER ANYWHERE. SUGGEST BOTH A BETTER HANGER AT TOP AND A SUPPORT BRACKET AT THE BOTTOM. 2. THE HOUR AND MINUTE HAND COME LOOSE WHEN TURNING THE WHEEL TO ADJUST THE TIME NEEDS A BETTER FIT ON THE SPINDLES."..."  Read more
