We got this product to help teach our kids how to read an analog clock, because it has all the numbers and a line for each minute. The assembly was of great interest to our 5 year old, and it took about 30 minutes to complete. He also loves to wind the clock, and we love that there are no batteries to worry about replacing! The only downsides to this clock are that it does need to be wound regularly (daily), and that the pendulum makes a rather loud "tick-tock".
