Clock arrived in good time...it was the perfect size but I thought the clock I was looking at on line was a lot more Blue. The Clock that arrive is all white with chrome (which I thought was going to be blue) and the only thing that makes it blue is the florescent light. I LOVE Art Deco and this clock is so reminiscent of the style back then. If my husband would allow it, I'd have one in each room. He put a strip down the wall to cover the cord and it looks great. When we're watching TV, we have a warm glowing light in the room. And when I go to bed, it makes a nice night light shining warmly into my bedroom. I love this clock, but it is quite bright. Too bright for my kitchen, so I am going to buy another clock for my kitchen and give this one to my husband for his garage.Hopefully with the electric neon,it keeps the batteries warm enough so the batteries for the clock wont go dead, in the winter.I ll have to give it a try. If that doesnt work, this clock will be great in our basement, or shop.
