I hung the clock on a wall facing the swimming pool and jacuzzi so people could easily see the time. The size of the numbers on the clock make it easy to read from a distance. My son has started a clock collection. Every year Santa gives him a wall clock. I found Santa likes the Atomic clocks better...since they don't need to be changed for daylight savings time. This clock has a unique design and is a great conversation piece. It is made well and is sturdy. The only problem we've had with it so far is that, because the hands are so long, if the battery is not full strength it will not have enough power to push the hands around the clock and they won't make it up to the top of the clock -- so I suspect we will be going through more batteries with this clock than in our other one.
