All Clocks

My senior dad had to/HAD TO have an alarm clock with "bells showing". The familiar long-ago look of this clock pleased him very much. Most of those "bells showing" clocks are windups that were NOT loud, and shut themself off while alarming after a few seconds...BUTTHIS great alarm clock is plenty loud for Hard-of-Hearing people, without being jarring or offensive, and has to be shut off manually-- so he has a chance to hear it!!! and uses batteries. Has seconds hand so dad can see it is working. Can be read from across room. Even though clock feels hefty in my hand, it has a plastic face (can't notice that really-[...]) but that is safer for my particular, elderly dad who knocks things over a lot. He is that kind who would break a glass face alarm clock in about a week and could even cut his foot if he did..so i am happy it is plastic face clock--safer for seniors.Pretty clock, It's easy for seniors to use and read and hear, very nice looking. Lovely white wall clock. It is modern, clean with the raised Arial type numbers and polish chrome hands. I've gotten complimented every time on it and people have asked where I brought it. Clock is as nice looking as the picture.Doesn't have a loud tick that may be annoying to some people. Good price. It is a bit larger than most clocks. I'm very glad I bought it. I bought this clock as a "back-up" in case the electricity goes out during the night and my plug-in fails to wake me up. I have always liked the color red and like the color and size of this clock. I bought it as a return in Wayfair's sale section and got it at a discount because it is slightly damaged on the bottom and therefore leans forward just barely. I checked other sites and the regular price Wayfair charges for this clock is cheaper and/or the same as others are charging. I wouldn't want this as my first-Iine alarm clock; I forgot how irritating it is to wake up to the bell noise of one of these compared to the good 'ol country music my clock radio provides. :-)"..."  Read more
