All Clocks

Recently my husband, who is a history teacher, remolded his studymusic room ( no TV alllowed here). The room was absent a clock and since Christmas was in a few weeks it was the perfect gift for him and the room. I decided that a Howard Miller clock would be the best choice since we had selected one for the sunroom four years ago. The quality of that clock with chimes and wood exterior were impressive. This antique-looking clock fits perfectly above two bookcases filled with historic memorabilia. This clock has some weight to it. This clock has a unique design and is a great conversation piece. It is made well and is sturdy. The only problem we've had with it so far is that, because the hands are so long, if the battery is not full strength it will not have enough power to push the hands around the clock and they won't make it up to the top of the clock -- so I suspect we will be going through more batteries with this clock than in our other one. I use the clock in a steam room in a commercial pool. The clock looks great and has heavy-duty, high-quality parts. I expected a little better water-sealing on the clock parts, especially in a ship's clock, but aside from some moisture that has crept inside the face, it still seems to be working 3 months in."..."  Read more
