Easy to install, of course, since it's a Britax. ;-) Takes up a lot of room front-to-back, so it may not fit in all locations of all vehicles. We have it in our 2004 Toyota Sienna (minivan). It fits fine in the seat directly behind the passenger seat, but we did have to move the passenger seat forward a bit. If the person who regularly sits in that seat has longish legs, that may be a little uncomfortable. It's fine for me.
Our son was around six pounds when we first put him in the seat. It's a little difficult to get the straps adjusted correctly when Baby is that small, but I'm going to guess that other infant seats have a similar issue. The chest clip is hard to slide up and down once the straps are tightened correctly. This is good if the clip is already at the level of Baby's nipples/armpits, but if it's a little too low, you may need to loosen the straps some in order to move it up higher. That is my only "complaint" about the seat, and it may not be much of an issue once Baby is older. He's still under four weeks old now.
The low-birthweight (or whatever it's called) foam is nice. It holds Baby up a little higher, so he's a little closer to lying down than sitting up.
Of course, the cow print is adorable. ;-)
I wish it "clicked" into my stroller, but at least Britax sends you a strap that can be used to secure the seat into a non-Britax stroller. They get a thumbs-up for effort on that one."..." Read more
