This was a gift for a student who likes to play chess with friends on the school bus. He loves it! The set fits easily into a back pack. You can even "save" a game: leave the pieces in place and close the lid. Pieces stay in place if the set is tipped sideways or shaken lightly. Nice board for the price. White pegs that came with it are a little difficult to see and the only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5."
