My mom actually ordered this for my 17 month old son. I know it's rated for 2 and up and I was skeptical but figured if he couldn't use it we would put it away until he was older. He's doing pretty well so far. He has a little trouble getting on it himself so I hold it for him and he hops on. It definitely forces him to work on balance. He hasn't taken off on his own with it yet but he does like it when I push him around. I can already tell that when he's just a little older this is going to be one of his favorites.
