All Bikes

We looked at five mid-priced balance bikes, and we chose this one for 3 main reasons: 1. hand brake 2. Wayfair (our thinking here is that when he's gliding his feet rest in a similar area of the bike as when he will eventually be pedaling) 3. kickstand Our 4-year-old was lifting his feet to glide within the first 30 minutes. Not to say that's a plus of this particular balance bike, but it's been very fun for him! As a bonus, it's as light as a feather. The seat is almost at it's lowest setting so I bet he'll be riding this in our basement this winter, and well into next summer. When he's ready for a bike with pedals I'm sure we'll be passing this onto my nephew. One con (so far): occasionally our son bumps his ankle on the kickstand mechanism. We own a Strider and a Kazam also. The Go Glider is considerably larger. Would be ideal for a taller 4-5 year old on up. In terms of quality, I think the other two are slightly better. We had an issue with getting the neck of the handlebars inserted all the way, even using a rubber mallet. Other than that, the bike is great."..."  Read more

I bought this for my sons 1st birthday. It was still about an inch too big for him to comfortably stand and hold it up. Hes grown into it a little bit since then and can now hold it up and walk slowly with it. He loves the bike and so do I. This is a quality item.
