All Bikes

We looked at five mid-priced balance bikes, and we chose this one for 3 main reasons: 1. hand brake 2. Wayfair (our thinking here is that when he's gliding his feet rest in a similar area of the bike as when he will eventually be pedaling) 3. kickstand Our 4-year-old was lifting his feet to glide within the first 30 minutes. Not to say that's a plus of this particular balance bike, but it's been very fun for him! As a bonus, it's as light as a feather. The seat is almost at it's lowest setting so I bet he'll be riding this in our basement this winter, and well into next summer. When he's ready for a bike with pedals I'm sure we'll be passing this onto my nephew. One con (so far): occasionally our son bumps his ankle on the kickstand mechanism. We purchased this trike for our three year old grandson's birthday. He was able to ride it immediately -- and felt so proud of himself. It is a safe and beautiful tricycle. It is sturdy and sound. My daughter just turned three and she loves this tricycle. It is too cute! The colour and style are perfect for any princess. I was able to locate it at a few places online, but it was much less expensive from Wayfair. The bike is a little heavy, but that also makes it very durable. We own a Strider and a Kazam also. The Go Glider is considerably larger. Would be ideal for a taller 4-5 year old on up. In terms of quality, I think the other two are slightly better. We had an issue with getting the neck of the handlebars inserted all the way, even using a rubber mallet. Other than that, the bike is great."..."  Read more
