Seems like a nice bed for sleepovers for my child. We are also using it as her "first bed" - since it is lower to the ground she won't have too far to fall, and as we move her into the bigger twin bed, we'll leave the trundle open for a while as a soft place to roll out of bed. Beautiful bed. Bought it for my 3 year old daughter. Looks great in her room. Company slept on the bed with the pop up trundle over the holidays. My only concern is with the headboard design. There is room for a small child to slip through the gap between the headboard and mattress. My daughter slipped through it about a week after we received the bed. She became stuck and was hanging by her underarms. We have rolled up a large blanket to fill the gap until she is bigger."..."  Read more
