Of all the sites I saw this bed, Wayfair was the least expensive ($549.00). Some were selling this bed at as much as $1,000.00 and advertised it to being reduced to $799.00 or $699.00.... as if THAT was a good bargain. Well, Wayfair had it MUCH less expensive (notice I didn't say "CHEAPER"). The bed itself is well constructed, solid, easy to assemble (it took me approx. 30 minutes, including telephone interruptions). I am very pleased with my purchase & have since ordered another bed, 2 flat-screen TV wall-mounts and plan to order more items. AVOID the furniture stores, shop from the comfort of your own home & save big $$$$ without sacrificing quality.... also I saved plenty of $$$$ by not driving around to the various furniture stores & having to be pressured by the "pushy" salespeople."..."  Read more

I wanted to change my daughter's room from a kids room to a teen room for her 1st year of high school. So we got rid of the of pink paint and now her room is blue and purple. However my biggest challenge was finding a nice full size bed specifically in white because of the bookshelves and desk she already had in white. We looked and looked and the final choice was between a bed from [...] and a bed from Wayfair. In the end we chose Wayfair because the bed is of solid wood ([...] is lacquered wood) and I paid the extra money for delivery and assembly which was worth it ([...] does delivery but you have to put it together & honestly I'd rather someone else do it - I value my time). In the end I think we made the best choice. My daughter has only had the bed a few weeks and in addition to her new mattress she absolutely loves it. I love the look of this bed. I had it in a Queen size but wanted to upgrade to a king size so this is my second purchase of the same bed. Beautiful look .. the wood is a little soft on my king bed so be careful. Having said that .. my Queen bed looked brand new after 5 years of use. The only HUGE issue with the king size bed is that it will (quite literally) distroy your mattress (sinks and breaks from the center) due to it's complete lack of support. Here is what I did .. I went to [...], bought additional planks to run horizonally across, bought a 2" by 4" plank and had it cut to 2" larger than the size of the center legs (6 pieces) and spray painted them, bought 2 additional planks to run vertically and put 3 legs on each plank and attached it in the center (6 inches apart from the center). Now the bed has 6 legs in the middle .. I got rid of the 2 short and lame legs it comes with. I have one STRONG bed but had to go through a nightmare experience with a damaged mattress and warranty exchanges due to the bed. The Queen bed .. no complains .. at all .."..."  Read more
