The bed arrived in about 3 weeks. Actually the headboard arrived in three weeks and the rest of it came one week later. The customer service girl at Wayfair was very nice and helpful. I have a split king size Tempurpedic adjustable bed. When I called the manufacter they told me the bed frame would not work with my bed. The measurements seems to match up so I ordered it anyway. The bed frame had to be build around my bed so it took two people. My Dad and I built it in about an hour. It worked PERFECT. One of the problems with Tempurpedic adjustable beds is you cant put a bed skirt on the box frame because of the bars around it. Now I dont need one. The platform bed looks fabulous and the fabric is even better than I had imagined. When comparing this to similar products you could easily pay over 1000 for this headboard set. I absolutely LOVE it. When I first saw this bed I was in love! Other sites have the exact same bed but their price is up to $300 higher. It took a little over 3 weeks to arrive but this was made clear when ordering. It is very heavy & at first looked like it would be hard to assemble but it wasn't. My only issue with the assembly was the fact that the hardware came in 3 pouches with 3 separate sets of instructions. You would figure these would match up but I found that the hardware was in random bags. The instructions skip some steps and aren't clear but it's relatively easy to figure out. I did have a nut that had no threads so I had to go to the hardware store to purchase a new one. It was a little difficult to get some of the pre-drilled holes to line up and the side & footrail don't come to a perfectly flush corner (it looks a little crooked - if you don't tuck your comforter you won't see it). When I was finished I had 2 brackets & some bolts that had no instructions. The bed is sturdy and looks absolutely beautiful. It took less than 2 hours to assemble by myself. Of all the sites I saw this bed, Wayfair was the least expensive ($549.00). Some were selling this bed at as much as $1,000.00 and advertised it to being reduced to $799.00 or $699.00.... as if THAT was a good bargain. Well, Wayfair had it MUCH less expensive (notice I didn't say "CHEAPER"). The bed itself is well constructed, solid, easy to assemble (it took me approx. 30 minutes, including telephone interruptions). I am very pleased with my purchase & have since ordered another bed, 2 flat-screen TV wall-mounts and plan to order more items. AVOID the furniture stores, shop from the comfort of your own home & save big $$$$ without sacrificing quality.... also I saved plenty of $$$$ by not driving around to the various furniture stores & having to be pressured by the "pushy" salespeople."..."  Read more
