All Beds

This bed was delivered to me this past Wednesday. Overall, I love it. I am using it with a memory foam mattes (12"), and I love the low-profile. It arrived in 3 boxes and was easy to put together. I recommend having someone help you. Make sure the side rails are facing the right direction (arrow stickers facing up) so the support that runs under the bed will fit properly. The bed is a gorgeous cherry stain - a perfect blend of red and brown. My only issues with the bed are: 1. there is a small area on one of the side rails that did not get stained, but did get varnished over, so staining/touching up that area will be impossible. I had that side rail face the wall, so it won't be noticeable. 2. the center support may not be enough to properly support a memory foam mattress. I was lucky and had a center support from the bed I was replacing, so I used that and doubled up. You can easily make extra supports out of a few pieces of lumber, a hand saw and some wood screws if needed. 3. The pilot holes for the cross-slats don't line up. A power screw driver will do the trick on this when installing the cross slats. Minus these flaws, I would definitely recommend this bed. It's really gorgeous."..."  Read more

Wow! Easy to assemble and gorgeous. the headboard is much higher than most platform beds, and it fills the wall beautifully. The construction is remarkably good quality. It is a platform bed, but we added a shallow box spring for a bit of additional height and it doesn't spoil the look. Very nice. We are thrilled that we purchased this bed."..."  Read more

This bed is made of heavy gauge metal and is sturdy and the railing is extreme. SIX legs for an extra sturdy foundation for your mattress. Goes together easily. The headboard and foot board are also beautiful to the eye. No loose joints to rattle around. I read a review that said another bed didn't include the railings so I called to make sure and was told they would have to look into that a little more and could they call me back. Within two hours I got a call back confirming the rails did come with the bed. So excellent customer service on top of a quality bed. I will enjoy this bed as much as I would enjoy the original antique."..."  Read more

I love the bed and the quality of the bed. But......I bought this bed as a trundle bed and the frame does not support the mattress. A link frame should have come with it."
