I purchased this bed for my 16 year old daughter. She has a full size bed and she wanted to replace her old boxspring style bed with a platform bed. I wasnt expecting too much to be honest since the price was much lower than similiar beds that we looked at. I was surprised by how nice the bed was when it arrived. I have some faux leather chairs and they look like faux leather, but this bed doesnt look cheap like the chairs do. The headboard is low but I guess you just have to get used to that since it is a platform and I am used to a boxspring. It was easy to put together and it seems very solid. It arrived early too! Originally, I just wanted a Queen size Headboard without the platform, but it's only available as a platform bed. The platform bed is designed to hold a box spring and upper mattress. If you own a Select Comfort air mattress, it will also work. [...] I began experimenting on my own. This bed is beautiful without a dust ruffle. But if you want to use a dust ruffle, you can; however, you have to remove the 3 wooden slats [...]and no it will not hamper the structural integreity of the bed). I then lifted and set my old metal bedframe on the floor (inside the inner panels of the platform bed). I then set my boxsprings in place, then my dust ruffle (and it's tight,you will have about 1/4" on all 4 sides to pull the dust ruffle down to the floor, and the side bed panels will still show) and then my mattress. This bed really does look fabulous. The Headboard has nice generous proportions, and heigth. It's difficult to tell from the web picture, but the curved ends of this headboard are just way to cool."..."  Read more

Pros - The bed is beautiful and SO sturdy!!!! I would absolutely recommend it to others. And the bed came quickly - 1 week- where as regular furniture stores were going to be 4 to 6 weeks to get a bed that wasn't on the showroom floor. I was very nervous about selecting furniture online without being able to see it in person. However, the selection of black beds was very limited and I would have had to order something from a book anyway. I would recommend that there be more photos to increase customer confidence in the selection. I saw a photo of this bed in white in a photo that had the whole bedroom furnished and that photo was actually the direct view that gave me the confidence to purchase."..."  Read more

The only complaint I have is it took about two weeks to get my bed. Out side of that I have no complaints the bed is beautiful the bed is made of good quality leather and is very sturdy. The web sight said we would need our box springs but I found out after the delivery men put it together that we did not need our box springs the king mattress fit perfectly. I love my new bed and would recommend this bed to all who are looking to purchase a leather bed."..."  Read more
