[...] The Headboard is beautiful, and once we started assembling the bed we were pleasantly surprised at just how easy everything went, despite some other reviews stating that the bed was difficult to assemble. We thought it was relatively easy. Until, you have to attach the fabric panels to the actual frame. That's where we ran into problems. One side panel had a tear in the fabric, and the Front panel did not fit on the frame properly, just like the other reviews state. The company is obviously drilling the place for the screw, in the wrong area of the wood. Because once you screw one end into the frame, the other side sticks out a good 2 inches. No matter what you do, this front panel does not line up with the side panels, which ruins the look of the entire bed. Next the Headboard. The headboard did not come with the right polls, so once the support polls were screwed into the headboard properly, they did not attach to the frame. One side fit, the other side had no place to screw in. Possibly the company sent the headboard that is meant for a "Standard Queen Bed Frame" as oppose to the bedframe for This bed. When we tried attaching the Headbaord to a standard queen frame we had, it did in fact fit. We decided to keep the headboard and use it in my daughter's room and send the rest of the bed back.I would not recommend this bed because there is obviously something wrong with the way they manufature everything before they send it out to the customer. I love the look of this bed. I had it in a Queen size but wanted to upgrade to a king size so this is my second purchase of the same bed. Beautiful look .. the wood is a little soft on my king bed so be careful. Having said that .. my Queen bed looked brand new after 5 years of use. The only HUGE issue with the king size bed is that it will (quite literally) distroy your mattress (sinks and breaks from the center) due to it's complete lack of support. Here is what I did .. I went to [...], bought additional planks to run horizonally across, bought a 2" by 4" plank and had it cut to 2" larger than the size of the center legs (6 pieces) and spray painted them, bought 2 additional planks to run vertically and put 3 legs on each plank and attached it in the center (6 inches apart from the center). Now the bed has 6 legs in the middle .. I got rid of the 2 short and lame legs it comes with. I have one STRONG bed but had to go through a nightmare experience with a damaged mattress and warranty exchanges due to the bed. The Queen bed .. no complains .. at all .."..." Read more

First of all let me say that I am very satisfied with the price and overall look and feel my new bed. The vinyl upholstry looks and feels great. Don't believe reviews that say it looks cheap, because it doesn't!I researched this bed for months before I purchased it so I was already aware of the few negative comments. As I began assembly, exactly as reviews predicted, there was a nut and a bolt missing. I think maybe the most recent batch of beds made must all be missing those parts, so no joke, be prepared for a trip to [...]!I also agree with pervious reviews that the side pieces do not match up to each other evenly. I am also not a fan of the black legs and black poles coming from underneath the headboard. I was thinking of simply spray painting them white or silver. However I changed my mind when I discovered most of these minor issues will be covered up with a proper sized mattress and comforter.I followed someone else's advice on the issue of the boxspring being exposed by using a bedskirt to cover it up.Overall this bed made a great transition for me from a cheap low-to-the-ground platform bed to this very stylish, funtional, tall addition to my bedroom."..."
