The bed arrived in about 3 weeks. Actually the headboard arrived in three weeks and the rest of it came one week later. The customer service girl at Wayfair was very nice and helpful. I have a split king size Tempurpedic adjustable bed. When I called the manufacter they told me the bed frame would not work with my bed. The measurements seems to match up so I ordered it anyway. The bed frame had to be build around my bed so it took two people. My Dad and I built it in about an hour. It worked PERFECT. One of the problems with Tempurpedic adjustable beds is you cant put a bed skirt on the box frame because of the bars around it. Now I dont need one. The platform bed looks fabulous and the fabric is even better than I had imagined. When comparing this to similar products you could easily pay over 1000 for this headboard set. I absolutely LOVE it. When I first saw this bed I was in love! Other sites have the exact same bed but their price is up to $300 higher. It took a little over 3 weeks to arrive but this was made clear when ordering. It is very heavy & at first looked like it would be hard to assemble but it wasn't. My only issue with the assembly was the fact that the hardware came in 3 pouches with 3 separate sets of instructions. You would figure these would match up but I found that the hardware was in random bags. The instructions skip some steps and aren't clear but it's relatively easy to figure out. I did have a nut that had no threads so I had to go to the hardware store to purchase a new one. It was a little difficult to get some of the pre-drilled holes to line up and the side & footrail don't come to a perfectly flush corner (it looks a little crooked - if you don't tuck your comforter you won't see it). When I was finished I had 2 brackets & some bolts that had no instructions. The bed is sturdy and looks absolutely beautiful. It took less than 2 hours to assemble by myself. My only want would've been for the bed to be available in a platform version, as this needs a boxspring."..."  Read more

I wanted to change my daughter's room from a kids room to a teen room for her 1st year of high school. So we got rid of the of pink paint and now her room is blue and purple. However my biggest challenge was finding a nice full size bed specifically in white because of the bookshelves and desk she already had in white. We looked and looked and the final choice was between a bed from [...] and a bed from Wayfair. In the end we chose Wayfair because the bed is of solid wood ([...] is lacquered wood) and I paid the extra money for delivery and assembly which was worth it ([...] does delivery but you have to put it together & honestly I'd rather someone else do it - I value my time). In the end I think we made the best choice. My daughter has only had the bed a few weeks and in addition to her new mattress she absolutely loves it. Originally, I just wanted a Queen size Headboard without the platform, but it's only available as a platform bed. The platform bed is designed to hold a box spring and upper mattress. If you own a Select Comfort air mattress, it will also work. [...] I began experimenting on my own. This bed is beautiful without a dust ruffle. But if you want to use a dust ruffle, you can; however, you have to remove the 3 wooden slats [...]and no it will not hamper the structural integreity of the bed). I then lifted and set my old metal bedframe on the floor (inside the inner panels of the platform bed). I then set my boxsprings in place, then my dust ruffle (and it's tight,you will have about 1/4" on all 4 sides to pull the dust ruffle down to the floor, and the side bed panels will still show) and then my mattress. This bed really does look fabulous. The Headboard has nice generous proportions, and heigth. It's difficult to tell from the web picture, but the curved ends of this headboard are just way to cool."..."  Read more
