I purchased this bed for my 16 year old daughter. She has a full size bed and she wanted to replace her old boxspring style bed with a platform bed. I wasnt expecting too much to be honest since the price was much lower than similiar beds that we looked at. I was surprised by how nice the bed was when it arrived. I have some faux leather chairs and they look like faux leather, but this bed doesnt look cheap like the chairs do. The headboard is low but I guess you just have to get used to that since it is a platform and I am used to a boxspring. It was easy to put together and it seems very solid. It arrived early too! One thing about this bed is that it has a "nice" side and a not so nice side (at least on the twin). One of the bed rails on mine had chips and some minor but noticeable cracking. The other bed rail was perfect. I assume they ship it this way on purpose and that the bad side of the bed is meant to face the wall. That's fine for me since one side of the bed is against the wall, but keep it in mind if you're putting the bed in a location where both sides are visible. Also, the space between the bottom of the bed rail and the floor is higher than it looks in the pictures. I measured it at 8", so it's not quite the modern low slung look I was expecting. Overall though, a nice bed for the price and I'm not unhappy with it in any way. Build quality seems good and assembly was simple and straight forward. This bed is in our master bedroom. It was very easy to assemble and it looks great in the room with the theme that we are going for. I like that it's also a platform bed, which is great for our foam memory mattress. The only downside to this bed so far is that it makes noises when we turn in bed. But we have gotten use to it. We have had this bed for about 8 months and so far it's been very sturdy. Over all it is a great bed for a good price."..."  Read more

Yes, This bed may look too good to be true. But it is not! I priced other upholstered leatherette beds. They most certainly priced much higher and when I looked closely at the picture they didnt make the cut. No double stiching....no creamy richness to the color, too shiney-cheap....But this bed is far different. It is truely Ivory. Think clean elephants tusk. Not washed out white and not cream....a beautiful in-between. It is not over-stuffed. It has more of a sleek, New York look but it doesnt slack on comfort when sitting up against it in bed. I read reviews that talked about the foundation looking flimsy. I am a 200 plus pound woman. My sister put the bed together in a snap and it is very Solid..Sturdy. It doesnt shake or feel like it will give out. The bonus to me is that the leather detail surrounds all sides of the bed. So if you are a minimalist, the look is still very good.
