I thoroughly enjoy my purchase of this platform bed. When I finally decided to replace my previous bed I looked at a great number of websites and stores and saw nothing that was just right. When I came across Wayfair, however, I was immediately intrigued by the unique styles of furniture represented by the site. I came across the Lexington Collection Platform Bed and knew that I had finally found the right bed. I have never slept so well in my life. I no longer have back pains and the height of the bed makes it easier to get out of it in the morning. It was also very easy to set up although the directions were somewhat unclear, but included illustrations that helped very much. The customer service reps I talked with were knowledgeable and professional and really made this the best purchasing experience I have ever had. The instructions are well detailed that it just takes patience to put together. I assembled it alone while my husband was with the baby. The headboard took 2hrs, on a separate day completed the bed, it took 4hrs. The set looks very modern & expensive. Once setup, the headboard & bed attach very easily. A few of the screw holes were not aligned which required slight force to screw in but nothing to frustrating. The only real down side was the knobs on the bed draws they are sharp & you can easily rub up against and hurt yourself, because we bought this for our toddler, we just removed the knobs until he is old enough but can still use the draws by pulling them open from the bottom, all in all, It is a Nice Set."..."  Read more

I love the looks and everything about this bed. The only thing I hate is that the mattress slides because it is a platform bed. I'm thinking about putting screws or something on the top because the continuous sliding gets old. Also, if you purchase the headboard for this bed it is very flimsy. We wanted a simple platform bed frame for our Sleep Number mattress and box spring. This did the trick beautifully. Assembly was not terrible - 2 people needed. (Note to manufacturer: Labeling each of the wood panels better would have helped.) Initially there was the "new furniture" smell in the bedroom, but that wore off after about a week. No creaking, no cracks (despite our son jumping on the bed every night), and a solid support for our bed. Very pleased with purchase!"..."  Read more
