This company makes beautiful products generally speaking and this piece is substantive and well made. There were some manufacturing refinements that I had higher expectations for though. Some chips in the finish, misses in the varnish and burred edges that should have been smoothed. And I would have a preferred a higher gloss finish similar to the stunning cribs they make. However, when asked, they replaced problem pieces without any problem. Just FYI, its a really heavy bed (which is what makes it a substantive and beautiful piece of long lasting furniture) but it takes some muscle to assemble."..."  Read more
