This bed is beautiful, rich, solid and sturdy. It is really a show stopper in our home. It is true to the picture, both in terms of structure, detail and color. It is a rich dark brown stain with a slight red-yellow undertone, but not too much on the red end that it looks dated. The frame is solid and well built. No movement or wiggling, no squeaking or anything like that. It is HEAVY though, if you plan on adjusting it's position, invite a few friends over to help. :) And it's BIG.
