I chose this comforter set for a clients bedroom with warm cream walls. The floral pattern is bright and cheery without being garish because the black background keeps the colors under control. I placed striped table runners on the dressers and paired the matching shower curtain in the attached bath with candy striped rag rugs. Just walking into the room makes one smile. Really wished there was a bed skirt and curtains offered. Happily, my client loved the sheet pattern, so my solution was to purchase two sets of queen sheets and use the flat sheets to make coordinating floor to ceiling curtains to go with white sheers. Big Impact! The thread count on the sheets makes them a little rough for my client, so Im using the fitted sheets to make the bed skirt. Client is totally thrilled. This set is a good value and a delightful result. Four stars instead of five because I had to make drapes and bed skirt, but five stars because the cost was lower compared to other places!"..." Only a kid would want this bedding. It is kind of like polyester, sort of has a bit of a sheen. My 9 year old son loves it, but hes a huge penguins fan, so it could be made of anything and he would like it ). We painted his room grey (kind of like the photo) and bought the fathead stickers. The black bedding is fine with it - not too dark.
The one peice that is a big disappointment is the sheet set. They are quite thin and just plain white. Only the pillow case has the markings you see in the picture and they are very faint. Not worth it. You would be better off just buying sheets at the store.
We also ordered the window topper. No surprises here. What you see is what you get - thats a good thing.
