Only a kid would want this bedding. It is kind of like polyester, sort of has a bit of a sheen. My 9 year old son loves it, but hes a huge penguins fan, so it could be made of anything and he would like it ). We painted his room grey (kind of like the photo) and bought the fathead stickers. The black bedding is fine with it - not too dark. The one peice that is a big disappointment is the sheet set. They are quite thin and just plain white. Only the pillow case has the markings you see in the picture and they are very faint. Not worth it. You would be better off just buying sheets at the store. We also ordered the window topper. No surprises here. What you see is what you get - thats a good thing. My star rating and recommendation are based on the fact that my son gives it top marks, and after all, its his opinion that counts"..."  Read more

NOW THIS IS WHAT I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR. I LIKE COMFORTERS WITH SOME WEIGHT TO THEM. I LIVE IN TX AND IT'S ALWAYS HOT. SO I LIKE TO KEEP THE HOUSE COLD, AIR CONDITION, CEILING FAN, AND REGULAR FAN ALL ON AT THE SAME TIME. I'VE ALWAYS BEEEN A PERSON THAT LIKES TO FEEL THE WEIGHT OF THE COVER ON ME.I HATE PAYING MY MONEY FOR A COMFORTER THAT FEELS LIKE A BLANKET. MIND YOU I SAID A BLANKET AND NOT A QUILT. I bought two of these sets for my twin grand-babies for their 3rd birthday. They are still using day beds, which take a crib-sized mattress. Yet I bought two queen-sized sets. This will surprise many reading this review. However, I did this is because the duvet sets will continue to work once the beds are converted to doubles. The trick to using a larger duvet on a crib is to fold the duvet and use it like a sleeping bag. Alternately, as my daughter has done, half of the duvet can be placed under the mattress, and the other half folds over it. The kids cannot toss the duvet on the ground :) This product is extremely good quality. The materials is excellent, the patterns crisp and they're adorable."..."  Read more
