this bedding is even better in person than in the photo. the blue is less of a powder blue, and more of a light turquoise (meaning, it's got a greenish-blue hue to it). it is very well made (craftsmanship and quality of fabric), and is a perfect weight. the duvet comes with an insert already, but you can take it out to replace it or add to it with a heavier one for colder months. the insert is buttoned in place inside the duvet, so it always looks smooth. it took some time to receive, because they make it once you order it, but it was worth the wait. it's the perfect combo of modern & retro. we get a TON of compliments on it, and my designer fell in love with it when she saw it on my bed. it's not cheap, but it will definitely last as long as something twice the cost, if not longer."..."
