I use this product to open all caps and lids that are too hard to open by hand. It's much better than the textured rubber pad I was using before. It's great that it is so versatile. It can be used on a variety of types and sizes. It can lift rings on plastic plugs in milk containers, as well as pull back tops of soup cans. It is comfortable to the hand, too. I have sensitive skin and arthritis in my hands, and this takes the pain out of opening things. It can't turn a water-bottle cap that has a pull-up nozzle on top, because the metal bottle-opener feature interferes with it. That one is not needed as much, however.
