This is a great set for the creative child in your life. I love the different horses and the fact that they are all so different. The Kit is of great quality and would make a wonderful birthday or Christmas gift. The set includes ten woodent stamps, 5 colored pencils that are sharpened and ready for use and a dual color stamp pad with black and brown ink. I like that this set is an art project fully ready the only other supply needed is paper to stamp on. The ink is washable which is always a must for a children's kit. The box says for ages 4+ I think this is a kit that could really span a large age range. I think it is best suited for 4-12 but I could see it being a treat of a horse enthusiast of any age. [...]. I love the easel. One side is chalkboard and one is dry erase board. There is a tray in between the two boards, and a nice one at the bottom of each to hold chalk or dry erase materials. I am using dry erase crayons and washable markers instead of dry erase markers as our 15 month old likes to draw on the wall and dry erase markers aren't washable off other surfaces. I ordered two easels, one for our granddaughters' home and one for our home. I like the Melissa and David one better. It is a perfect size for our 15 month old and 4 year old. The letters and numbers are not being used right now as the children are both young, but it won't be long. The letters and numbers are small, maybe could be a little bigger."..."  Read more

Art Master Activity Desk is a hit! I bought this as a gift for my three-year old niece and she loves spending time at her "desk." It was easy to put together, is study and spacious enough for lots of reading and art supplies. My boys, ages 3 and 4, love this set. I bring out giant pads of paper and let them go for it. They haven't used the color pencils from the set - they are all about stamping the different dinosaurs and there is even a volcano. I would purchase more Melissa and Doug stamp sets in the future based and would even purchase this additional one as a gift. They've been using it for MONTHS and still aren't bored."..."  Read more
