This beautifully crafted, solid wood easel (which must be assembled upon arrival) adjusts as the child grows taller. It is made to last & is sure to be passed down to future siblings & cousins. The additional shelf at the bottom is a handy, clever space-saver & the entire design of this easel is child-centered. I examined 15 easels in person at various high-end and "big box" toy stores before I selected this model through Wayfair.
