I ordered this set of beads and laces for my 2 year old son. He's been learning his colors,shapes, and numbers lately so I thought this toy would be a great way to help him learn while also working on some finger dexterity. He was very excited when I showed him his new toy and was quickly trying to put the beads on the laces after I'd shown him how a few times. I love that the beads have colors, shapes and numbers on them so we can practice more than just one thing at a time. There are a lot of pieces to this set, so I wish it had come with a storage bag of some kind as there's no way my son is going to put everything neatly back into the small wooden box that Melissa & Doug use for most of their products. It also doesn't have a lid so it's easily tipped over. Overall though, this is a great product.
