LOVE THIS BIG CAGE for my Cockatiel. Discovered that my old huge cage wouldn’t fit in my vehicle, so that wasn’t good if my bird needs to go the vet or travel with me. It has the connector things to put the cage on the stand, so it won’t slide off. I’m going to keep the cage on a table without the stand but it seems like you could pull the cage up and off of the connector things with some effort. I included a pic that shows the space that a bird could push up on the 4 slide up doors. I usually wire that type of door shut and have a different feeder inside that just hooks on the bars. Love the latch that keeps the bottom grate from sliding out with travel. Bonus! Few bars had a little bend in them but fixable. Pretty sturdy bars. EASY ASSEMBLY. Put it together myself in about an hour. (I’m 49). I usually have my husband to do a final tightening of bolts but I used pliers to hold the included Allen wrench for super tightening. Easy peasy!! Overall, it's a good bird cage. It's fairly easy to put together, as long as there are two people assembling it. I like that it's on wheels and I love the play stand on top. When I brought the bird cage I was really worried about it being too small, not strong enough, I am really a worry wart. Any I was surprise by the size that came to the door. in the box it looked like it was going to be way to small. Once my son and I opened it I was totally amazed at the size and strength of cage. We put it together in about 25 minutes! much quicker that I thought. It is beautiful and I am very satisfied. we think that our female parakeet is pregnant and if she delivers I will have no hesitation to buy another of the same size. Thanks so much!
