| Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni, brothers from Milan, have been unified designers since after the Second World War. Having received various acknowledgements and awards since, they have continued their spectacular design legacy by reinventing many items for Alessi featuring modern flair and functionality. The "Orseggi" glassware collection is a spectacular example. Originally designed in 1965 for the "La Casa Abitata" exhibition in Florence, it has been redesigned for modern consumers featuring an entire line of crystal bar and glassware with such pieces as the beautiful Bevilacqua water tumbler and the Il Bi or L’erre white and red wine glasses. |
