Aldo Rossi is considered by many to be the greatest Italian architect of the second half of the 20th century. His life as an architect started with Gardella and Zanuso. An author of abstraction, reduction and brevitas, his severe language of primary shapes, geometrical patterns and silent evocation created some of the most intensely poetic works of architecture and design in his age. These exact characteristics exude from his products as well, utilizing geometrical shapes to make profound design statements. Rossi died in 1997.

Daughter-in-law's delight! Previously, my daughter-in-law was not a coffee drinker. When a friend served her espresso, she was "hooked". So, when she rec'd this coffee pot and absolutely loved it, she asked me where I purchased it and she ordered one for her friend. |

Start your day with a thing o' beauty I love my macchinetta. I purchased the three cup version: Its solid, simple to use, easy on the eye and makes a great cup of coffee. |
