Air Hockey

Our family really enjoys the table. It's great to have 3 different games in one table. It is heavy but easy to assemble. Turning the table from pool to air hockey is very easy. When I assembled the table, and plugged in the cord for air hockey, the fan for the air would not turn on. I called the manufacturer and they sent another fan. I installed it and then it worked. One thing I did not like was when I called the manufacturer, I had to leave a message and they will call you back in 2 days. 2 days is too long for a new item that doesn't work."..."  Read more

This table is a very good compromise of quality and cost. At this price point, it's obviously not the best pool table or air hockey table out there, but it's good at both and an excellent choice for teens or a moderately outfitted game room. Quality and function of both table tops is good; the pool table is solid and level/flat, the air hockey top has good, even airflow. Assembly was straightforward, but at least 2 people are required to get the tabletop up on the assembled legs. My only concern is the robustness of the legs and support bars; thicker material would make it more stable and probably extend the life of the product. Table works well. Good sounds, plenty of air flow, nice look. Heavy and sturdy. Make sure you size up the table location and identify a nearby outlet -- the cord for the plug is not that long (although extension cords of course would help). For some reason, ours did not come with a users manual, although not hard to operate. Use the white glove delivery - crew set up the whole thing right where we wanted it - worth the extra $149. Having the scoreboard fold flat makes using the ping-pong conversion top possible. Unfortunately, my daughters and their friends seem less interested in playing air hockey. The American Heritage Monarch is an excellent Air-Hockey Table...just like in the arcade. It is very sturdy and very well made. American Heritage is known for making very well made furniture and this table is no exception.
