Buy - only if you like cheap looking things

Nevermind the fact my lamp came in a box with stickers proving it was returned to Wayfair and had broken pieces inside. This lamp looks cheap - like, for a child's room, cheap. The silver and white circles that serve as a shade are thin plastic with tiny metal keychain-looking connectors. It is obvious they are plastic pieces before the light is even turned on. I would equate the "shade" plastic pieces to a Dollar Store wind chime. The base is cheap looking too; thin and flimsy. The best feature would e the 3-way light (which is 2 levels of brightness and off) but even that didn't work well. I put a light bulb in it adaquate for the lamp requirements and I hit the metal to turn it on. It worked. Then I hit it again and it blinked but remaine the same level of brightness. Then I hit is again and it went off. Not impressed at all.

I bought this for my daughter. She loves the 3-way touch. This lamp is sold in store for a bit more. You can touch any metal part of the lamp to turn onoff. I hope it will last a long time.
Just the right lamp.

This lamp is sexy and elegant at the same time! It looks great in my living room. Would highly recommend.
