[...]As we were enroute to check out the pool, I went ahead and dragged it out to the pool area and immediately went about setting it up! It only took 10 minutes- Yippee!As we didn't have any play sand, it became strictly a water table! At the end of the day I drained it and we picked up some play sand for the next 'building day'. We also had to pick up a BIG truck, cause where's there's sand, there must be a truck. Yes, we live in the South, go ahead and laugh about having a monster truck for the sandbox!! The next morning I filled half with water and half with sand. Daughter was in and out of the pool and playing with her table, while swing set construction began again. Within 15 minutes it was no longer a sand and water table, but a 'sandy mud' construction site! TALK about a versatile table that can keep up with a preschooler's imagination! The wheels on the upper portion work great for water and fine sand, not so much for sandy mud, FYI! Love that the lids close up to keep animals out of the sand! You get what you pay for. A good, sturdy table that is fairly easy to put together. The table top is in two pieces and is not completely flat but it doesn't seem to bother the kids or the trains. I see many years of use from this table. Currently it is a train table but I see it turning into a lego table and an activity table. One issue is that the white has chipped already but it is not a product no. I realize it won't look perfect forever as it is not heavy wood but will serve its purpose."..."  Read more

I bought this table to go with the personalized, folding, toddler-sized director chairs I got for my twins. The size is perfect and the table has never collapsed, even when one of the toddlers has climbed on it. The best feature, though is its portability. We don't have a lot of space, and I like that I can fold up the table and chairs and get them out of the way when they're not being used. This was a 2nd birthday gift for my son and he loves it! He and my 4 year old daughter spend so much time building with the legos and enjoy setting up to train side, too. The table itself was very easy to assemble and is quite sturdy. It's compact size allows it to fit almost anywhere and 2-3 children can easily play together. The table includes a small train set and regular legos. My only suggestion would be to include duplo blocks instead of the regular sized legos. The larger duplo blocks fit the grid just fine and are easier for little hands to handle. We are keeping the smaller legos as my son gets bigger. Great product!
