Activity Tables

We looked at hundreds of websites, and they all seemed to carry the same art tables. I saw one in the store that was selling for [$]and found it online for around $199. It was a piece of junk. It was very colorful, and I'm sure our kids would have been excited about it, but in a year or two we would have had to replace it. Then we found the this table, and looked at a hundred websites to find the best price after shipping. Some places had a lower price but then charged $70 for shipping.Wayfair was straight forward, good price, no shipping = lowest overall price.Oh the table. We are very happy with it. We got it with 24" legs and it fits our kids just fine (6 & 8 on the small side). If they start to outgrow that height, I can go to any hardware store and get longer legs.We didn't go with the 30" wide paper roll. At first it seemed to expensive, but after looking for something cheaper we couldn't find any. We did find 15" rolls, that had like 250' of paper. That seemed like enough for now. With 2 15" rolls are kids can work on different pictures side by side. We also can swap out one of the rolls for a 14" roll of tracing paper we found at a local store."..."  Read more

Bottom line, my child loves it! He's 2 yrs old now, this desk should be good for age 1 to 5 years old. The desk itself is very easy to put together, only took 15 mins, no tools needed as it comes with a tool to put the screws in. Mostly prebuilt, you just have to attach legs to chair and desk that's all. The pecan color actually looks good with golden pine furniture or even oak furniture. Think those standard oak hardwood floors, it's that kind of color to it. My child has spent countless hours on this chalk board, drawing and erasing over and over again. We use a dust free chalk by crayola which costs less than 2bucks. A great table. He also keeps his coloring books and crayons in the desk and uses the desk for coloring or puzzles etc. The desk has a very slight tilt, you can still put a cup on it and it will sit fine etc. Highly recommended."..."  Read more

I bought this for my 2 year old son for toy storage. My 3 younger children use it and I love it. The smooth surface is amazing. The kids color all over (emphasis on 'all over') it and it cleans off easily with a damp cloth. The setup was simple and less than 30 minutes (with kids "helping"). We purchased this desk for our two girls (ages 6 and 3). They LOVE it! I had a hard time finding something that would fit a 6 year old and still hold up for years to come with a 3 year old. The 6 year old loves to play school and this desk was a perfect fit. She will get even more years out of it. It will be perfect for days ahead of school work.
