Activity Tables

[...]As we were enroute to check out the pool, I went ahead and dragged it out to the pool area and immediately went about setting it up! It only took 10 minutes- Yippee!As we didn't have any play sand, it became strictly a water table! At the end of the day I drained it and we picked up some play sand for the next 'building day'. We also had to pick up a BIG truck, cause where's there's sand, there must be a truck. Yes, we live in the South, go ahead and laugh about having a monster truck for the sandbox!! The next morning I filled half with water and half with sand. Daughter was in and out of the pool and playing with her table, while swing set construction began again. Within 15 minutes it was no longer a sand and water table, but a 'sandy mud' construction site! TALK about a versatile table that can keep up with a preschooler's imagination! The wheels on the upper portion work great for water and fine sand, not so much for sandy mud, FYI! Love that the lids close up to keep animals out of the sand! I was excited to get this for my daughter for her 3rd birthday. She loves water and water toys, so I thought this product would really be great, especially when it's too chilly to swim. Pros: I thought the price was really reasonable. Overall, my daughter loves to push the pumps that spew water, and she enjoys playing with the boat, car and lighthouse. Cons: I had a difficult time getting the hoses through the holes, and then getting one of them low enough so the bridge would drop completely. My husband had to do it. The legs don't stay on; every time I pick it up to move it, a leg falls off, which is really inconvenient when there's water in it. I've snapped them in but they just don't stay. The boat always capsizes, and the water wheel doesn't always turn when you pour water in it. Rating: I would've given it three stars, but my 3 year old loves it, so I gave it four. She plays with it every time we go outside. She's not as critical as I am, and I have to say she finds it very entertaining, and that's really the point."..."  Read more

Great toy for our 2 year old. She can spend endless hours playing with her sand and water table and is always asking us to let her go outside to play with it more. Our 5 year old finds the toy to be borderline boring. Recommend finding a good spot to put it and leaving it there as it's a little awkward to move - especially when full of sand."..."  Read more

Kids love it! We like how the back hoe wont dump sand beyon the sides of the table, it keeps all the sand contained. Being from the Central Valley in CA the umbrella is a great thought!"
