You get what you pay for. A good, sturdy table that is fairly easy to put together. The table top is in two pieces and is not completely flat but it doesn't seem to bother the kids or the trains. I see many years of use from this table. Currently it is a train table but I see it turning into a lego table and an activity table. One issue is that the white has chipped already but it is not a product no. I realize it won't look perfect forever as it is not heavy wood but will serve its purpose."..."  Read more

Bottom line, my child loves it! He's 2 yrs old now, this desk should be good for age 1 to 5 years old. The desk itself is very easy to put together, only took 15 mins, no tools needed as it comes with a tool to put the screws in. Mostly prebuilt, you just have to attach legs to chair and desk that's all. The pecan color actually looks good with golden pine furniture or even oak furniture. Think those standard oak hardwood floors, it's that kind of color to it. My child has spent countless hours on this chalk board, drawing and erasing over and over again. We use a dust free chalk by crayola which costs less than 2bucks. A great table. He also keeps his coloring books and crayons in the desk and uses the desk for coloring or puzzles etc. The desk has a very slight tilt, you can still put a cup on it and it will sit fine etc. Highly recommended."..."  Read more

Bought for daycare children ages 1 to 8. Everyone is drawn to it and have enjoyed it immensely. One and two year olds have trouble with the concept of using the magnet under the table (instead of on top where they can see it) but it is providing a learning tool for them. We purchased this desk for our two girls (ages 6 and 3). They LOVE it! I had a hard time finding something that would fit a 6 year old and still hold up for years to come with a 3 year old. The 6 year old loves to play school and this desk was a perfect fit. She will get even more years out of it. It will be perfect for days ahead of school work.
