We looked at hundreds of websites, and they all seemed to carry the same art tables. I saw one in the store that was selling for [$]and found it online for around $199. It was a piece of junk. It was very colorful, and I'm sure our kids would have been excited about it, but in a year or two we would have had to replace it. Then we found the this table, and looked at a hundred websites to find the best price after shipping. Some places had a lower price but then charged $70 for shipping.Wayfair was straight forward, good price, no shipping = lowest overall price.Oh the table. We are very happy with it. We got it with 24" legs and it fits our kids just fine (6 & 8 on the small side). If they start to outgrow that height, I can go to any hardware store and get longer legs.We didn't go with the 30" wide paper roll. At first it seemed to expensive, but after looking for something cheaper we couldn't find any. We did find 15" rolls, that had like 250' of paper. That seemed like enough for now. With 2 15" rolls are kids can work on different pictures side by side. We also can swap out one of the rolls for a 14" roll of tracing paper we found at a local store."..."  Read more

You get what you pay for. A good, sturdy table that is fairly easy to put together. The table top is in two pieces and is not completely flat but it doesn't seem to bother the kids or the trains. I see many years of use from this table. Currently it is a train table but I see it turning into a lego table and an activity table. One issue is that the white has chipped already but it is not a product no. I realize it won't look perfect forever as it is not heavy wood but will serve its purpose."..."  Read more

I bought this table to go with the personalized, folding, toddler-sized director chairs I got for my twins. The size is perfect and the table has never collapsed, even when one of the toddlers has climbed on it. The best feature, though is its portability. We don't have a lot of space, and I like that I can fold up the table and chairs and get them out of the way when they're not being used. Bottom line, my child loves it! He's 2 yrs old now, this desk should be good for age 1 to 5 years old. The desk itself is very easy to put together, only took 15 mins, no tools needed as it comes with a tool to put the screws in. Mostly prebuilt, you just have to attach legs to chair and desk that's all. The pecan color actually looks good with golden pine furniture or even oak furniture. Think those standard oak hardwood floors, it's that kind of color to it. My child has spent countless hours on this chalk board, drawing and erasing over and over again. We use a dust free chalk by crayola which costs less than 2bucks. A great table. He also keeps his coloring books and crayons in the desk and uses the desk for coloring or puzzles etc. The desk has a very slight tilt, you can still put a cup on it and it will sit fine etc. Highly recommended."..."  Read more
