"I love these storage units, less expensive than most others I have seen, but not cheaper than actual bookcases for the same amount of space (although much more versatile than bookcases). They are versatile and stackable and I buy black fabric drawers to go in them which really finishes off the look. If you look closely you can see they are not real wood, but I think they look sooo much better than any other storage cubes I've seen. With the fabric drawers, you pretty much cannot tell that they are not real wood. Most of the other storage drawers I saw were in odd colors, not as easy to put together, and even more expensive. I like these because they are 1) Recycled material 2) Very easy to put together 3) Sturdy 4) Look good 5) Can be stacked any way you want 6) with some fabric drawers you can use them instead of a dresser I have used these to cover most of a wall (4 tall x 10 wide) in one bedroom for clothing storage , stuff storage, etc. Also used a stack of 6 drawers (2 wide x 3 tall) put together as a TV stand. And used another stack of 2 x 2 for a keyboard stand. Perfect for kids rooms of any age, college kids, and I might even organize my closet with these as well.""..."  Read more

I bought several of these folding shelves. They are well made and look good. I put several together and use them as a wall unit. They are easily moved and are very versatile in what you can do with them. The only minor negative is that they have to be assembled. I bought similar shelves many years ago which came assembled. All I had to do was take it out of the box, swing the sides into place and the shelves dropped down into place by themselves and that was that. But assembling these new shelves was no big deal. This is a beautiful shelving unit, (I bought two) much nicer than I had expected. I prepped the wood with a conditioner and stained it with a spray stain. Was easy sneezy. Only one area of dissatisfaction. Well, maybe two; Three of the removable shelves were beautiful long pieces of wood and the other three were short strips glued together and definitely of a lesser quality than the others &... the hardware was mismatched. One shelf has gold colored pegs and the other has silver tone pegs. These flaws however do not detract from my satisfaction with these shelves but did not want to let these small issues go unmentioned. I truly love these shelves and they were a great buy.
