The product is comparable to mahogony shoe racks that I saw in a very high end designer catalogue. The "designer" shoe racks were actual furnitue and came assembled. However, my recollection is thay cost hundreds of dollars more. The shoe racks from accent furnitue look similar, are the same dimensions and cost a fraction of the price of the "designer" racks. Since I don't need designer furniture shoe racks in my closet, the Accent Furnitue shoe racks are more than sufficient. They did require some assembly but after the first rack, everything went smoothly. I purchased three sets (each set is two racks that stack). The accent Furnitue racks are also versitile in that they can be stacked three or four (or whatever) high depending on available space. My closet and master bedroom is much neater since all those shoes that were laying around (especially my wife's shoes) no longer pose a tripping hazzard."..." Read more

"I love these storage units, less expensive than most others I have seen, but not cheaper than actual bookcases for the same amount of space (although much more versatile than bookcases). They are versatile and stackable and I buy black fabric drawers to go in them which really finishes off the look. If you look closely you can see they are not real wood, but I think they look sooo much better than any other storage cubes I've seen. With the fabric drawers, you pretty much cannot tell that they are not real wood. Most of the other storage drawers I saw were in odd colors, not as easy to put together, and even more expensive. I like these because they are 1) Recycled material 2) Very easy to put together 3) Sturdy 4) Look good 5) Can be stacked any way you want 6) with some fabric drawers you can use them instead of a dresser I have used these to cover most of a wall (4 tall x 10 wide) in one bedroom for clothing storage , stuff storage, etc. Also used a stack of 6 drawers (2 wide x 3 tall) put together as a TV stand. And used another stack of 2 x 2 for a keyboard stand. Perfect for kids rooms of any age, college kids, and I might even organize my closet with these as well.""..." Read more

It was not too tedious a job -- once they were all together we stacked them and I have a REAL classy method of STREAMLINE shoe storage. Pros Can be used as a 6-shelf double stack or in two 3-shelf units, sturdy, quality finish, easy to assemble. Cons Pretty limited on can sizes on shelves other than he very top one. I was really happy to see the quality of the unit as I removed it from the box. It was a little challenge to get together because its easy to get the tri-fold part backwards and then need to disassemblereassemble. Doesnt take long but a little bit of a pain. Went together fairly easily. Youre really limited to about 3 Campbell soup-sized cans per section on each shelf. Larger Progresso-sized cans only fit well on the very top. You can get them into other sections but theyre tight and dont roll freely which makes it harder to read the labels. Five oz. cat food cans can sit on their sides only on the top shelf too and you can only get 4 cans in a regular-sized section when you do that. Still a huge bargain because of being able to separate into 2 units. Buying units like this separately from anywhere else will absolutely cost you more than the price of this double unit from Wayfair -- significantly more. I use them separately and they fit nicely on my new pantry shelves side by side. I wish there was slightly more space between shelves because that would make this pretty darn near a miracle product!"..." Read more
