This chair is very solid and looks great as an accent chair. I will say that it looks like a deeper red and more satin finnish red on the on the picture then in person. The sitting area is also very deep from the back support to the front of the chair and may be uncomfortable for smaller people to sit in. Never ordered upholstered furniture on line before- was careful to measure listed dimensions as some chairs are smaller than displayed on webpage. This chair is well worth the money!! Looks beautiful in my family room and might order a second one. More for show than usage. Only drawbacks were that 1) one of the legs had a chip on the edge which I filled in with a dark marker and 2) a tad wobbly until I added a pad to bottom of one of the legs as a protector for my wood floor.
