I purchased the clear plastic with metal rotating base which took a lot longer, but am happy with the purchase. It was intended for a vanity chair, but the sitting position is too far back and your legs come up too high for a vanity. Instead, I use it as a side chair in the living room and it works nicely for that purpose. I looked for quite a while for a chair that could go outside on a covered balcony with a glass railing and not block the view. Had something just like this in mind, and until I came across the LCP Chaise, had only found one other similar chair and it was almost three times the price. Will likely purchase another matching LCP Chaise. Can't give it 5 stars yet as I have just gotten it and haven't had much chance to use, or to see how it holds up.
