The chairs are very sturdy, and will serve us well when we have movie nights or extra company over. The size might be small for a spacious/larger room in a house, but for our apartment it filled out the space perfectly! I ordered two of these for my loft, and they look absolutely stunning. The chairs are made with real leather, none of that cheap split leather which can create cracks along seems. The swivel base is solid. I expect these chairs to hold up to many hours of usage. The chair itself is very comfortable, definitely one you can spend a few hours sitting in. Great lounge chair! One small comment, the two Venice chairs I ordered had slight, almost unnoticeable differences in frame shape from one another. I would guess that the frame might be hand made, thus you might get possible quality differences between chairs, but all in all, I would definitely overlook this and order these again."..."  Read more

The chair is covered with something that looks like faux leather with leather texture. The padding is soft enough and the chair is very comfortable to sit in, especially the armrest curve is cleverly designed. However, due to the chair's small footprint, it tries to tip forward when you get up. That's the only shortcoming I noticed. This is an answer to my prayers. I spend a great deal of time at my laptop which sits on an antique desk in my living room. I have a pinched siatica and this chair allows me to move it up and down to keep the pressure off the back of my legs. Yes, I know it is super contemparary and with an antique desk? It looks outstanding. It brings in a focal point with out being a 400 pound white elephant sitting in the room. Now with that being said I will admit to being a fan of eclectic rather than matchy, matchy. But it is such a fantastic look it actually can be an accent piece in any type of decor.
