The sitting area is also very deep from the back support to the front of the chair and may be uncomfortable for smaller people to sit in. I purchased two of these chairs and for what I wanted them for they are a perfect match. The color of the chair is more of a cherry red and cream dots. I would not consider the color burgundy at all. However, the chairs were easy to put together and are pretty sturdy. Not the most comfortable chair but for my use they work just fine.
