Accent Cabinets & Chests

I love that it's just the right size and can fit almost anywhere. I use it to put all my undergarmets inside. That's why it's called a lingerie chest. It is not designed to hold sweaters and large clothes. Has a lot of pieces to it and takes few hours to finish. I was working by myself and it took me about 3 hours. Now I am only 20 yrs old but I was able to put it together perfectly. Now considering this is the only thing I ever put together by myself I did a darn good job on it. The only thing I didn't like was some scratches left on it but theat marker they gave did the job. The cabinet is well built, the drawer slides easily and the doors and hinges work fine. There was no stinting on the hardware and the paint job was very good and blends well with our other furniture. The texture of this cabinet provides a great contrast to the laminate-topped metal desk and work table in my small office at work. It is light in weight, sturdy, the doors do not rub when they are opened and closed, and there are no funky smells. The image shown on Wayfair makes the piece look rougher than it really is. I expected to snag clothes and pick up splinters, but it is quite smooth. It also appears to be reddish in the image but, in actuality, is a golden color with brown and faint red highlights. I was looking for something to have near the entrance to our home to place keys and other essentials in order to keep things from being lost. I fell in love with this cabinet and thought the extra storage space would be put to good use as well. Not only is it perfect for its intended purpose, it looks amazing in my living room.
