I ordered it for an entry way and put a mirror over it, so it is an important piece, being the first thing that you see when you enter the house. It does the job, stunning and classy! Keep in mind it is a painted piece and NOT perfect. It clearly stated that when I ordered it, I was aware and wanted that imperfect look. It just makes it look more like a family heirloom, very European! The price was right, I did shop around. My only complaint is that it is not all real wood, composit of sorts, maybe a resin, it is only noticable when you open the drawers, otherwise the appearence it fantastic and that is what I was looking for."..."  Read more

[...] The only complaint was that when unboxed there were four or five places where the finish was scratched. This wasn't from shipping or from bombechestsandmore it was simply a quality control issue from the manufacturer. From 5 feet away the scratches were not noticeable and after we went to [...]and bought a wood scratch stain pen and touched the spots up you literally can not find them now even if you were looking for them.
