I ordered it for an entry way and put a mirror over it, so it is an important piece, being the first thing that you see when you enter the house. It does the job, stunning and classy! Keep in mind it is a painted piece and NOT perfect. It clearly stated that when I ordered it, I was aware and wanted that imperfect look. It just makes it look more like a family heirloom, very European! The price was right, I did shop around. My only complaint is that it is not all real wood, composit of sorts, maybe a resin, it is only noticable when you open the drawers, otherwise the appearence it fantastic and that is what I was looking for."..."  Read more

This console sits on small wall right in the middle of my open floor plan house. The piece gets a lot of compliments and is perfect for the location I have it. It does not stick out too far from the wall and sits just high enough to put a beautiful mirror or picture over it with a tall table lamp to accent. The piece is very dark, maybe even a little darker than shown. The drawers are lined and are very functional. I do feel that the console could have been priced a little lower.
