Accent Cabinets & Chests

I love that it's just the right size and can fit almost anywhere. I use it to put all my undergarmets inside. That's why it's called a lingerie chest. It is not designed to hold sweaters and large clothes. Has a lot of pieces to it and takes few hours to finish. I was working by myself and it took me about 3 hours. Now I am only 20 yrs old but I was able to put it together perfectly. Now considering this is the only thing I ever put together by myself I did a darn good job on it. The only thing I didn't like was some scratches left on it but theat marker they gave did the job. This accent piece of furniture looks just as nice, if not nicer, in your home as it does in the picture. I love the rich color and the curves on this piece. My only disappointment is that the drawers are not drawers at all. There is only 1 drawer, which is the top center. The double doors in the center open up to a wide open cabinet - no shelf in there. The side "drawers" open up to corner cabinets. It's okay but not what I was expecting. It appears to be well made and looks great as an accent piece. I'm glad I bought it."..."  Read more

I ordered it for an entry way and put a mirror over it, so it is an important piece, being the first thing that you see when you enter the house. It does the job, stunning and classy! Keep in mind it is a painted piece and NOT perfect. It clearly stated that when I ordered it, I was aware and wanted that imperfect look. It just makes it look more like a family heirloom, very European! The price was right, I did shop around. My only complaint is that it is not all real wood, composit of sorts, maybe a resin, it is only noticable when you open the drawers, otherwise the appearence it fantastic and that is what I was looking for."..."  Read more

This chest is at the end of a narrow hallway, with a silk orchid on the bottom level, and a mirror above the chest. It makes the hallway look much wider, and is a stunning accent.
