great looking cabinet!---more for looks than function though. it happens to be perfectly suited for my use---an old seaside cottage renovation! and it will serve as an adequate desk for vacations. it is small in scale but will be fine for a laptop or postcard writing....the inside of the cabinet is slatted on the bottom and the drawers have cane bottoms so i will install a piece of glass or heavy plexi for added support but it will store papers and mail and a few office necessities. overall, it really is the look i wanted and it is nicely constructed and very well-detailed, but as an actual writing desk you would need a bit more room."..."  Read more
